June 7: IEM Cologne, the LEC final and the BLAST Slam VII grand final
An intense day of matches across five disciplines at once. CS2 enters the decisive phase of the Cologne Major, in Dota 2 the main trophy of BLAST Slam VII will be contested, and League of Legends will crown a new spring split champion. There is plenty to watch.
CS2: who advances and who falls
The second stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 continues with eight matches. The format is merciless: two squads advance, two others pack their bags. The schedule begins at 15:30 (Moscow time), when Monte against Legacy and Astralis against TYLOO take to the server simultaneously.
The night’s big games are two BO3 clashes. G2 Esports face FUT Esports at 20:00, and at the same time Team Spirit take on 9z Team. For Spirit it is a decisive moment: the squad needs to confirm its status as trophy contenders. Falling by the wayside would be a painful blow to their reputation.
In parallel, at 17:30, B8 against GamerLegion and FlyQuest against paiN Gaming are settled. The Brazilians of paiN arrived in Cologne in good form and could spring a surprise.
Dota 2: final day of BLAST Slam VII
At 12:00, BB Team and LGD Gaming enter the lower bracket final – whoever loses is out of the title fight. The winner, at 16:00, faces Team Yndx in the grand final, in a best-of-five. Yndx arrived via the upper bracket and earned the right to wait for their opponent while rested – a considerable advantage over the long distance.
BLAST Slam VII was one of the last big LAN tournaments before the season’s summer playoff. The winner takes not only the prize money but also important ranking points toward qualification for The International.
League of Legends: KC against G2 in the LEC final
At 18:00, Karmine Corp and G2 Esports dispute the LEC 2026 spring split title. These same teams faced off in the regular season – now the stakes are incomparably higher. Over the last few seasons, Karmine Corp have been consistently biting into G2’s positions in the European hierarchy, and KC do not lack support.
G2 are traditionally considered the favorites, but “traditionally” does not work in a final. The intrigue is alive.
VALORANT and PUBG: no room for boredom either
In VALORANT, two games are on offer: FULL SENSE against FUT Esports at 17:00 and Leviatán against Global Esports at 20:00. The tournament gathered the strongest representatives from every region, and each match at this stage directly influences the playoff bracket.
In PUBG, from 13:00, the last five matches of the final of the second Circuit of the Global Series 2026 are completed. The maps alternate: Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Rondo and Erangel again. Based on these games the series winner will be known – and, on top of that, the final arrangement of forces before the world championship.
