May 2026 already has dates: 007, Batman and much more before GTA 6

The May 2026 release calendar is taking shape, and the list grows every week. With GTA 6 arriving in November, the coming months promise to be an intense race for players.

A month of action and variety

May brings two big names right off the bat. The new adventure of agent 007 places players at the center of a brand-new story in the Bond universe, while the Batman title promises to turn the player into the figure Gotham’s criminals fear most. They are distinct approaches, but both bet heavily on narrative and on the identity of their protagonists.

For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, Coffee Talk is also present. The café simulation series, known for its intimate tone and captivating characters, serves as the ideal counterpoint to so much action spectacle.

What comes next – and the elephant in the room

June starts more quietly in terms of major releases, but it is not empty. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth arrives on Switch 2 on the 3rd, the Gothic 1 remake appears on the 5th, and the remake of The 7th Guest confirms its presence on June 4 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC. July picks up the pace again with Attack on Titan 3, Splatoon Raiders and Palworld 1.0, the latter finally leaving early access on the 10th of the month.

But the true destination of this entire calendar is November. GTA 6 is confirmed for the 19th of that month, on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Everything arriving before works, in a way, as a warm-up – or as a welcome distraction while the wait drags on.
