Milan renew Modrić until 2027 and tie down Camarda until 2031

Milan have decided to lock down two very different players at once. Luka Modrić, the 39-year-old Croatian, has signed a new deal that runs until 2027. Francesco Camarda, a 16-year-old gem, has committed to the rossoneri until 2031. Two renewals, two different messages: guaranteed experience on one side, a bet on the future on the other.

Renewals point to long-term planning

Modrić arrived in Milan as a marquee signing meant to bring leadership to a squad in rebuild. Extending his contract until 2027 shows that the board trusts the midfielder’s output even at an advanced age. That is rare in European football, yet it is becoming more common with names who carry a CV like his.

Camarda is the other side of the coin. Still a teenager, the striker is already drawing interest from rival clubs. Milan chose to act before the competition came knocking. A six-year contract for a 16-year-old is a clear sign that the club sees him as a central piece of its medium-term sporting project.

Parma keep an eye on the rossoneri

The renewals have already stirred the market. Parma have asked for information about Christian Comotto and about Camarda himself, testing the ground for a possible future deal. For now, Milan show no willingness to negotiate over the young striker, who has just been tied down on a long contract.

The Milan club, for its part, is also keeping an eye on its own finances. Rafael Leão remains on the radar of other clubs, and Milan are waiting for concrete offers for the Portuguese before deciding their next moves in the window.

The Italian market is bubbling

While Milan put their house in order, Roma are trying to make up ground after losing Crysencio Summerville to another destination. Their target now is Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig, valued at between 55 and 60 million euros. Talks with the player’s camp are already under way, according to reports.

At Napoli, Kevin De Bruyne remains in the plans, while Frank Anguissa is treated as untransferable. Romelu Lukaku’s situation will only be settled once the striker returns from holiday. Alessio Zerbin, meanwhile, has undergone a medical with Frosinone and is closing in on a permanent move.
