Olise wants a meeting with Bayern and Kane set to renew: the market heats up in July

The European summer transfer window is officially open. The World Cup dominates the headlines, but behind the scenes at the big clubs the work never stops: meetings with agents, draft offers and negotiations that could reshape European football before the start of next season.
Olise puts Bayern under pressure
One of the hottest names of the moment is Michael Olise. The 24-year-old forward wants to sit down with the Bayern Munich board to understand what his place in the Bavarian project really is. Real Madrid’s interest is on the radar, and the Frenchman, who was one of the standouts of the Bundesliga last season, has no intention of standing still and waiting.
Bayern paid around 50 million euros to Crystal Palace in 2024 to sign him. Letting him leave now would be a public admission of failure in squad management. On the other hand, if the club fails to offer concrete guarantees, the path to Madrid could open up. The market does not wait.
Morgan Rogers valued at €150 million by Aston Villa
Aston Villa have put a hefty price tag on midfielder Morgan Rogers: 150 million euros. The figure reflects both the player’s development and the club’s firm stance, as they do not need to sell and know it. Arsenal appear as the main suitor – the Gunners are looking to strengthen the left side of their attack and see the Englishman as a long-term solution.
Manchester United also monitored the situation but seem to have fallen behind. With Arsenal in front and willing to negotiate, the question now is whether Villa give in or hold the price until the end. For a club that reached the Champions League and wants to establish itself among the European elite, negotiating below the asking price would send the wrong message to the market.
Kane close to renewing with Bayern
Harry Kane is set to stay in Munich. Despite Barcelona’s enquiry with the English striker’s camp, everything indicates that the England captain will sign the contract extension with Bayern, currently valid until 2027.
Kane joined the club in 2023 for around 100 million euros, breaking the record transfer in Bundesliga history. In his first season, he scored 44 goals across all competitions. Loyalty to the project makes sense: at 31, he is at his peak and has a team built around his characteristics. Barcelona was a temptation, not a concrete plan.
