Real Madrid deny interest in Olise; Nmecha attracts Liverpool and United

The summer transfer window has officially opened, and the market’s behind-the-scenes activity is already bubbling – even with much of the spotlight on the World Cup. While national teams battle on the pitch, clubs are orchestrating deals that could redraw entire squads next season.
Real Madrid rule out Olise, and Bayern want to renew
One of the hottest rumours of recent weeks has been given a cold shower. Real Madrid have denied any negotiation involving Michael Olise. The 24-year-old forward had been linked with a move worth around 150 million euros to the Santiago Bernabéu – figures that would already place the deal among the most expensive in the history of French football.
Bayern Munich, however, do not even want to hear about a sale. The Bavarian club state that the player is not available to leave, and are working to keep the Frenchman with an enhanced contract-renewal offer. For Madrid, at least for now, Olise is not a real priority – just speculation.
Nmecha becomes a major target: Liverpool and United in the race
One man whose stock keeps rising is Felix Nmecha. The 25-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder is one of the standouts of the World Cup and is already attracting interest from half of Europe. Liverpool and Manchester United are the most concrete names in this race.
The German’s market value sits at around 50 million euros, but Dortmund know they have room to demand more. The Rhineland club do not tend to make negotiations easy for in-form players – and with Nmecha playing well at the tournament, the trend is that the price will only go up from here.
Brighton persist with Vuskovic with a third offer to Tottenham
On another front, Brighton are not giving up on Luka Vuskovic. The Seagulls have already been rejected twice by Tottenham: an offer of around 40 million euros and another in the region of 45 million both hit the post. Now the Brighton club have returned to the charge with an improved offer of approximately 51.8 million euros, including bonuses and add-ons.
Vuskovic, a central defender, is seen by the Brighton board as a key piece to reinforce the defence. Tottenham, for their part, have not yet signalled any real willingness to negotiate. It is a tug of war that promises to drag on – but with Brighton willing to stretch the budget, the outcome could surprise.
