Real Madrid eyes Rúben Dias; Camavinga could move to Inter

The European summer market has not even officially started yet, but the moves are already taking shape behind the scenes. Real Madrid has defender Rúben Dias in its sights, while Eduardo Camavinga could leave the Merengue club through the back door, with Inter Milan as the most likely destination.
90 million euros: the price for Dias
Real Madrid is considering submitting an offer of around 90 million euros to take Rúben Dias from Manchester City. The 29-year-old Portuguese defender is under contract with the English club until June 2029 – meaning City is in no hurry to sell and is likely to demand a high fee to release one of its defensive pillars.
Dias has consolidated his position as one of the best defenders in Europe since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2020. For Madrid, the interest makes sense: the club is looking to strengthen its defense with someone of proven international experience and leadership on the pitch. In recent seasons, the Merengues have suffered, partly because of this problem.
Camavinga out of Mourinho’s plans
On the other side of the same equation, Eduardo Camavinga faces a very different scenario. The French midfielder, who arrived at Madrid in 2021 as one of the biggest prospects in European football, reportedly does not feature in coach José Mourinho’s plans for next season.
Inter Milan appears to be the most concrete destination. The Italian club’s president, Giuseppe Marotta, is said to have spoken with Florentino Pérez during a visit to the Bernabéu, and Camavinga’s name came up as one of the central topics of the conversation. At 21, the Frenchman still has a lot to prove – and a change of scenery could be exactly what he needs to find the regular playing time and space that Madrid is not willing to offer.
Camavinga was not even called up for the World Cup, which reinforces the perception that this is not his best moment. But the talent is there. The question is where he will finally break out.
